Homebuilder sponsor donates new club house to Elburton Villa FC
Elburton Villa FC is celebrating after scoring a brand-new club house from team sponsors, Tilia Homes Western.
The club house has been donated following the launch of the homebuilder’s brand-new sales and marketing suite at Teign View, in Kingsteignton. The temporary cabin was to be disposed of and, as a community-focussed homebuilder, decided to gift the outbuilding to Elburton Villa FC.
The club has renovated the building into a clubhouse for players and families. As well as being a place to come together pre- and post-match, the facilities will be used to raise money for the teams to provide the best equipment for players.
Emma Cotterill, Sales and Marketing Director for Tilia Homes Western, comments: “As a sustainably focussed homebuilder, it’s important that we look for innovative ways to ensure waste is kept to a minimum when we’re building our communities and so when the opportunity arose to give back to such a fantastic club that really is in the heart of its community, we were only too happy to help.
“It’s been a pleasure to further extend our relationship with Elburton Villa FC and to see the real difference the upcycling of our temporary cabin has made to the players and visitors. We wish the team the very best for next season and look forward to seeing the clubhouse in full use!”
Teign View is a beautiful collection of homes in its final phase of the development with a selection of four- and five-bedroom styles remaining.
The location of the development makes it the epitome of convenient, countryside living and with spare bedrooms, ideal for growing families or study or office space, and superfast fibre broadband, work life balance has never been more possible.
Kevin Treeby, Chairman at Elburton Villa FC, adds: “Our thanks go out to Tilia Homes for their generosity. The clubhouse is already making such a difference to the club and we’re looking forward to many events and match days at our wonderful new facilities”.
