The Mayor of Bedford, Dave Hodgson, has cut the ribbon to officially open the new regional headquarters for Tilia Homes Eastern, based in Priory Business Park
The move marks a significant milestone for the housebuilder, which was sold by construction firm Kier Group to investment company Terra Firma in June this year. The new 12,550 sq ft office space is now home to over 110 employees, and Tilia has ambitious plans to significantly grow the regional business over the next three years with new developments across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northants, Suffolk, Essex, South Lincolnshire, Hertfordshire and Norfolk.
Jonathan Miller, Managing Director at Tilia Homes Eastern, said: “We are delighted to have moved into our new office at Priory Business Park, which provides a brand-new home for Tilia Eastern. Since our separation from Kier Group, we have been seeking out a new office that would bring our teams together after 18 months largely spent apart.
“Our new location in the heart of our region reflects our desire to expand our business throughout the east of England, with the financial support of our new owners. We’re really grateful to Mayor Dave Hodgson for joining us to officially open our new office, and for welcoming us so warmly to the town.”
Tilia is actively seeking new land opportunities for sites of between 50 to 300 homes in suburban areas across its operating patch.
